Greg has been involved for two years and has achieved the distinction of “Advance Communicator Bronze”, “Competent Leadership” and recently won the area Speech Evaluation contest. Greg will be competing in the upcoming District Evaluation Contest.
When does he sleep? He is also a full time financial adviser with Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network.
Every Toastmaster speech is a project with a specific objective to develop different aspects of speaking. Greg is working on what is called an ‘advance’ manual which has different themes and objectives. This project is from the “Public Relations” manual and is designed to mimic skills required for a radio program. The objectives of the speech are: Present a positive image of you and your company on a simulated radio talk show. Prepare a talk designed to build goodwill toward an organization presenting factual information. Prepare for questions to be asked of you during a radio interview.
Greg’s objective for this podcast is to hi-light Toastmasters as an organization and emphasize his involvement with the group.
