He gets great pleasure out of making people’s dreams come true. Unfortunately he has also seen what happens all too often when people don’t plan, or get caught in debt traps.

He spent over 25 years in the retail banking and wealth management industry helping families, and independent business people with all financial aspects. Banking focused on debt and accumulation strategies. It didn’t protect people from life’s road bumps and uncertainties.

With his financial expertise now as an independent financial advisor with Desjardins, Financial Security Independent Network, Greg is able to combine his life experiences as well. He focuses on life planning needs first, for clients; helps them to dream big; then together they implement strategies to make those dreams a reality.

Greg says, “The sooner you start dreaming, the more fulfilling your life will be. The financial strategies we implement are the outcome of your individual dreams. No two are the same.”

Being divorced, remarried with three grown children, Greg is able to combine life experiences to help clients with their choices.  Financial conversations are like sex education – they are uncomfortable, don’t happen often enough and have significant consequences.  He facilitates financial conversations amongst spouses, parents, and children, parents & their parents.

Ignorance is not bliss. Greg does not want this to happen to any of his clients.

Christina Hamlett is a media relations expert and award-winning author whose credits to date include 30 books, 152 stage plays, 5 optioned feature films, and squllions of articles and interviews that appear online and in trade publications throughout the world. Tom Siracusa is iCare Insurance's President, Managing Partner and Co-Owner, together with Karen Matheson. How he got here, though, is quite the story. Tom was born and raised in east Vancouver, born of Italian descent, the third of four brothers. Tom's humble beginnings started out at age 9 when he had is first newspaper route with the Vancouver Sun. Little did he know that all that door-to-door selling and delivering of newspapers would  define his life and lifestyle some 30 years later. After earning a Marketing and Sales Diploma at Langara College in 1993, and some career pit-stops along the way at McDonald's, Gizella Bakery, and London Drugs, Tom was finally ready for a career.
Tom is the only son to follow in his father's footsteps as an insurance broker. Tony Siracusa started his career back in the 70's and worked for over 30 years in the insurance industry until retirement in 2001. Tom and his Dad, Tony, began working together in 1996 at Key Insurance Services and fortunately Tom couldn't have had or found a better mentor then his father. Tony had a very simple philosophy that Tom still uses and cherishes to this day, and that is, "Take care of your customers like they're part of "The Family" and make sure they've got the best coverages so they'll be covered in the event of a claim."
Tom took over the family business and clients from his father and is now insuring the grandchildren of Tony's original clients from the 1970's.
